The Reverse design depicts an Australian officer wearing the Digger Slouch Hat with his pistol fighting through a field of barbed-wire obstacles and some silhouette soldiers with riffle behind him, a fitting tribute to the bravery of Australian soldiers in this pivotal action of the Second World War.
