Description:
Two families which ideally embrace the whole Earth. At the top, the year of issuance. At the left side, the name of the artist "C. Principe". The mint mark R appears on the arm of one family member at the right. The design is surrounded by the inscription "The VIII World Meeting of Families", from the left to the right in semi-circle and "CITTA' DEL VATICANO" at the bottom. The coin's outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
