Description:
The coin’s reverse depicts one of Melbourne's most magnificent free Classical style of Victorian era buildings, the Fitzroy Town Hall with the clock tower that added during the 1887. The inscription identifies the theme "MELBOURNE TOWN HALL" curves along the upper edge and the face value "FIVE DOLLARS" is inscribed on left. The designer's monogram (AM) is also incorporated into the design below right.
