On the center of the reverse, the Olympic cauldron with a flame continues to burn in it until the duration of the games is extinguished during the Olympic closing ceremony. Encircling it is a vibrant, multi-colored (predominantly yellow and brown) Cherry Blossom or sakura ring. The legend at the top of the coin accompanying the date reads "2020 AUSTRALIAN OLYMPIC TEAM" the coin identifies the name of the series and the bottom shows "STRIVING" the name of the coin.
