Description:
The coin’s reverse portrays stylizing two doves back-to-back, which has become an international symbol of peace. In its beak of each one, the bird is carrying a branch of olive, surrounding a light blue (the color of UN peacekeepers) circle with four concentric lines in it. The inscription "75TH ANNIVERSARY OF PEACEKEEPING" encircles the lower rim, acknowledging and honoring sacrifice and the contribution of Australian peacekeepers who have participated in peacekeeping and peace operations. The initial designer's "AS" elegantly placed on the right side, adding a personal touch to the artistic representation.
