Description:
The coin reverse design features pad printed depiction of "Borobi" the mascot of the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Borobi is a blue koala, and colored ears crimson nose sunscreen Indigenous markings on hands and feet and one thumb on each paw. The term "borobi" means koala in the Yugambeh language, spoken by the indigenous Yugambeh people of the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. The inscription identify theme "XXI COMMONWEALTH GAMES" around the rim. To the left, the face value "1DOLLAR" and "Gold Coast" below.
