On the reverse, the design presents a beautifully engraved SOPWITH WALLABY aircraft: detailed relief of the aircraft biplane is shown in flight, powered by a Rolls-Royce Eagle VIII engine, had an open cockpit with two seats with visible wings, struts, propeller, and fuselage markings superimposed over a compass with engraving inscriptions include "SOPWITH WALLABY" around above and a pilot CAPT. GEORGE C MATTHEWS, and his mechanic Sergeant THOMAS D KAY around below. Surrounding inscriptions identify the name of the series "THE GREAT AIR RACE 1919 ENGLAND TO AUSTRALIA." The designer’s initials (SMS) are around right.
