This reverse coin depicts Mary MacKillop (a nun and teacher and founded the sisters of St. Joseph, she also set up a school for underprivileged children) and three of her young students as a symbolize guiding hand on the future generation in front of a map of the world. Around below, inscription "INTERNATIONAL AUSTRALIANS:EDUCATION", her name at right above and denomination at the opposite. The design includes the artist’s signature (VG) below the youngest boy.
