Description:
The reverse of the coin is inspired by the obverse of 1919 Australian Peace Medal - Triumph of Liberty and Justice (a figure of Victory, a female figure with flowing robes and hair holding a sword and standing on a plinth marked 'PEACE 1919', with doves flying around her head; there are two supine figures at her feet, and they appear to be breaking the chains of war and freed from their shackles), which was presented to Australian schoolchildren in honor of the occasion. The inscription identify theme "PEACE 1919" on the pedestal and a country name below it.
