On the reverse, the design presents a beautifully engraved CAUDRON G4 aircraft: detailed relief of the aircraft is shown in flight, with twin engines, and the tail plane had four rudders superimposed over a compass with engraving inscriptions include "CAUDRON G4" around above and a French pilot ETIENNE POULET, and his mechanic JEAN BENOIST around below. Surrounding inscriptions identify the name of the series "THE GREAT AIR RACE 1919 ENGLAND TO AUSTRALIA." The designer’s initials (SMS) are around right.
