On the reverse, the design presents a beautifully engraved BLACKBURN KANGAROO aircraft: detailed relief of the twin-engine tractor biplane is shown in flight, had four-bay wings with a large upper-wing overhang, and fuselage markings superimposed over a compass with engraving inscriptions include "BLACKBURN KANGAROO" around above and a team of a Kangaroo "LT. V RENDLE CAPT. GH WILKINS LT. DR WILLIAMS LT GH POTTS" around below. Surrounding inscriptions identify the name of the series "THE GREAT AIR RACE 1919 ENGLAND TO AUSTRALIA." The designer’s initials (SMS) are around right.
