Description:
The coin reverse features Australian infantrymen moving up along the Kokoda track across the Owen Stanley Range with a stylized motif representing a flaming torch above. Also included in the design is the inscription "LEST WE FORGET" around below and the date of ANZAC Day, ‘April 25’ – a day on which we honor all those who gave their lives in the service of their country" around above. In the left field , the Perth Mint “P” mintmark and the designer's initials (LB) are in very small letters below right, opposite the T in FORGET..
