Three sections of aluminum; the burner on top of the torch, the ring above and knob on the bottom of the torch’s grip, have been gold-plated along with the featured Legacy logo located on the on the body of the torch. Additional text is placed underneath the logo on the torch’s aluminum body), with gentle open hands symbolizing the compassionate support, care and the ongoing mission to help provided by Legacy to families of veterans over the past 100 years. Around the rim, the inscriptions "CENTENARY OF LEGACY" left, "100 YEARS OF SERVICE" right, and the initials of the designer (TD) below left.
