The reverse features an engraving of a koala sat at the base of a eucalyptus tree. The gorgeous creature feasts on gum leaves which is a common food choice of the marsupial. The inscription found on this side of the coin includes ‘1/2 oz 999 silver.’ and the Perth Mint's mark, "P," is not included at the left side.
