6th crowned portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II facing right (the Commonwealth effigy), wearing the George IV State Diadem, the Coronation Necklace and Earrings appears in silver and the entire background have been gilded with 24-carat gold. framed by inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “AUSTRALIA,” and the face value “2 DOLLARS.”
