Description:
6th crowned portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II facing right (the Commonwealth effigy), wearing the George IV State Diadem, the Coronation Necklace and Earrings framed by inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” "the dates of the Queen's reign 1952 - 2022, AUSTRALIA, 2024” and the face value “1 DOLLAR” surrounded by a lunar calendar wheel, will notice that each of the 12 animals in the cycle is represented in the design of the wheel. At the very top of the wheel, indicating it is the animal represented for the year, is the dragon.

Description:
The reverse side of the coin features an elegant Chinese dragon depicted in high relief, coiling gracefully across the surface with finely sculpted scales, flowing mane, and an expressive mouth. Surrounding the dragon are symbolic decorative elements, stylized clouds. On the right, the inscriptions: "龍" - Dragon in Chinese character. On the bottom, the inscription: "YEAR OF THE DRAGON" - the name of the coin and the purity of the material "1oz .999 Ag." The designer's initials (BS) are above left.
