The colored scene is bordered inside an outline of the Australian continent. Inscriptions on the reverse include "THE LAND DOWN UNDER," and "ROCK FISHING" below it. The metal, purity and weight "1 oz 999 SILVER." To the bottom of the image, the Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark appears and the the designer's initials (IJ) on a left horse's hind pastern.
