AUSTRALIAN BRUMBY
P JM
2022 1oz 9999 SILVER
Description:
The coin portrays a spirited brumby with a raised hoof. The horse is standing beside a tree that is shedding its bark – a regular occurrence in the life cycle of many Australian eucalypts, and the barren tree is the only feature on the landscape, save some sparse grass and fallen branches among strappy leafed native flora. Engravings on this face of the coin identify the name of the series "AUSTRALIAN BRUMBY" around above, the year of issue, weight, purity, and metal content "2020 1 oz 9999 FINE SILVER" are inscribed close to the bottom rim. In the right field, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark appears and the designer's initials (JM) are also incorporated into the design below it in the ground.
