The reverse of the coin features a colored representation of the Chinese lion dance, with a firecracker and two lanterns in the background. The design also features the Chinese character (财富) for ‘fortune’. The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark is inscribed close to the bottom rim and the designer's initials (NM) appears discreetly is inscribed close to the upper rim above a lantern. The coin’s metal, weight and purity"1oz 999 Silver," is inscribed at the right side.
