The coin’s reverse depicts Harry Houdini, at the controls of his logoed, French Voisin airplane in color. The image overlays words from a typical poster publicizing Houdini’s stunt. As well as The Perth Mint's ‘P’ mintmark at the bottom, the reverse includes the inscriptions ‘DIGGERS REST MARCH 18th 1910’ and ‘AUSTRALIAN CENTENARY of Flight’. In the right field, the designer's initials (RV) above numeral 25.
