Both animals are spectacularly illuminated in 24-carat gold. As well as the words AUSTRALIAN FLORIN, the dates ‘1954 – 2004’ year of visit and year of issue and the designer's initials (WLB) below lion forelegs. The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark is not included.
