In the background, vibrant coral reefs, dozens of different types of corals and marine plants rendered in exquisite detail. The Perth Mint 'P' mint mark can be found on the left-hand side. The inscriptions "THE LAND DOWN UNDER," "GREAT BARRIER REEF" around above and the weight, purity, and metal content "1/4 OZ 9999 GOLD" are inscribed close to the bottom rim.
