Description:
The design include as many Canberra icons and federation symbols as possible. It depicts the flagpole at Parliament house surrounded by a map of the Territory with inset abbreviation ACT and the denomination 20 CENTS, the Federation Star, a Royal Bluebell and a bunch of Canberra Federation Roses (a special ACT floral emblem for the Centenary of Federation Year 2001). The designer's initials SJP are in the left base of the flagpole. The inscription of the event around "CELEBRATING THE AUSTRALIAN CENTENARY OF FEDERATION 1901 TO 2001."
