Description:
On the center of the reverse, Australian Paralympic Team mascot – Lizzie the Lizard in Manga style "Lizzy, the frilled-necked lizard, was chosen as the mascot for the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games. The Paralympic mascot's frilled neck. Lizzy's strength, determination, and attitude symbolize all the Paralympic athletes participating in the Games". Muscular anatomy, athletic posture, and detailed uniforms are finely engraved, conveying movement and competition. . Encircling it is a vibrant, multi-colored ring inspired by the selective national colors of Australia are green and gold (golden wattle). The legend at the top of the coin reads "AUSTRALIAN PARALYMPIC TEAM" the coin identifies the name of the series and the bottom shows "SET TO SOAR" the name of the coin.
