Description:
The coin reverse design features a depiction of happy "Borobi" the mascot of the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Borobi is a blue koala, with colored ears, crimson nose sunscreen Indigenous markings on hands and feet and one thumb on each paw. The term "borobi" means koala in the Yugambeh language, spoken by the indigenous Yugambeh people of the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. Encircling this mascot pad printed multi-colored rings of the mascot colors. The legend at the top of the coin reads "XXI COMMONWEALTH GAMES" and the bottom shows the denomination "TWO DOLLARS."
