The reverse features a dove, which has become an international symbol of peace. In its beak, the bird is carrying a olive branch whilst the outer edges of the tranquil green colored print are inspired by the Australian Commonwealth Military Forces’ original ‘Rising Sun.’ These elements featured together are representational of the peace the Armistice signified.” The legend at the top of the coin reads "REMEMBRANCE" and the bottom shows the denomination "TWO DOLLARS."
