Description:
The coin's reverse depicts the official Royal Military College badge (a circular band containing the raised words 'DOCTRINA VIM PROMOVET' surrounding a pair of voided crossed boomerangs. A scroll below reads 'ROYAL MILITARY COLLEGE'. The badge is surmounted by a King's Crown. Associated with the service of Captain Lauchlan Duart Maclean. Maclean was born in Sydney on 3 February 1925 and trained as an officer at Duntroon. He enlisted for service with the Second Australian Imperial Force on 13 December 1944.incorporating the motto DOCTRINA VIM PROMOVET (learning promotes strength). The inscription identify theme with dates "CENTENARY OF RMC DUNTROON 1911-2011" around above and The P mint mark of the Perth Mint appears at the bottom.
